Japan is a mystical place to me. A place of infinite inspiration, of boundless incomprehension, and of heartwarming mindfulness. Usually all at once and more.
More things than just words can get lost in translation. The Japanese language knows nine different words for “beautiful”. 美しい (utsukushii) is my favourite, meaning that something is of a true and pure beauty both inside and out, moving your heart.
